London This sweet girl is about 3.5 years old and ~49lbs of pure muscle. She is all people friendly, including dogs AND cats. She passed all temperament tests with flying colors. She is currently staying with one of our amazing volunteers as we get her healthy and ready for a forever home. We can't wait to see her come out of her shell and share more about her.	Zeus Zeus is just under 2 & weighs ~60lbs. This young, energetic boy is housebroken, loves to play catch and would make a great running buddy. Our volunteers will work on his leash manners & basic obedience as he tends to pull in excitement. He would do best in a home with older teens or adults, as he is a solid boy and not accustomed to living with young children. He has lived with another dog, but a meet would be required to ensure they are a great match.	Shakira Shakira is a fun-loving, energetic 3y.o who weighs ~50 pounds. She earned her name because she’s a total wigglebutt who loves everyone she meets. She enjoys belly rubs, back scratches, and playing with her toys. Our volunteers will be working on her obedience & leash manners. A home with older kids would be best as she gets jumpy when excited. As for a fur sibling, no cats & would have to be the right match for another dog.
Indie This beauty is just under 2 years old and is an absolute stunner. She's a bigger gal at 70 lbs and loves her walks, soaking up attention and winning the hearts of everyone she meets with her soulful eyes. She is dog friendly & approved for older/sturdy kids. She is playful & sociable and an all-around happy land hippo.	Hudson This handsome hunk came to us after being abandoned & ending up at an animal control facility. Between 2-3 years old and 55 lbs, he is a silly boy that will be sure to steal your heart. He showed no signs of resource guarding and did AMAZING with a female tester pup. He is UTD and vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Since we have no history on him we do suggest a home with older kids.	Gelato This handsome Corso/Mastiff mix is as sweet as his name. He is between 3-4 years old, super sociable and loves all people. He takes treats gently and has a solid sit command. Do to his large size we do suggest kids 11 & up. He did okay on his dog test but he might be too much for them, so his playful & goofy energy would have to be matched.
Oscar This sweet boy has joined our family after waiting nearly 300 days in the AHS Newark shelter. At 3 years old the is a friendly, active & well-trained boy. He gets along great with other dogs and could be a wonderful addition to a home with older kids. He loves to run & hike so an active family where he can go on adventures would be great.	Luna This pretty gal is around 9 years old. She has the most beautiful dark coat. She is approaching her golden years so a low key home where she can enjoy her favorite things(napping & relaxing) is what she's looking for. She is potty-trained, quiet & non destructive in the home. A warm, adult only (or teen approved), without other pet home is what would be best for our wide toothy smiley girl.	Chrissy AKA Christmas is an 8 yr old senior gal who was surrendered alongside her housemate Pebbles (who we recently pulled). This sweet mama spent years being used for breeding and was then dumped when no longer "useful". At a petite size of only 47 lbs, she enjoys light walks & people watching. She will often bark with excitement when she sees you but can be timid with new people. She was indifferent to dogs/cats and would do best in a quiet, adult only home. She needs peace, patience & love.
Carson Carson is 6 years young, housetrained, non-destructive, & listens incredibly well. He is a well mannered gentleman when it comes to taking treats, food or toys. He was surrender with his housemate (Melony), but would do best as the only dog.	Toffee Toffee appears to be a Cane Corso mix, a little over a year old. She was found as a stray with another dog (though it seems there may have been a scuffle before going to the kennel). She passed all her temperament tests and is eager to please. She walks well on a leash and will be continuing her training with our volunteers at the boarding kennel.	Joe A 5 year old pittie mix, who was found as a stray weighing only 35 lbs. He's battling anemia, dehydration & parasites. Despite the clear neglect he faced previously his spirit shines bright and he loves everyone he meets just looking for love & affection. He gets so excited for his walks and is currently with a volunteer where his journey to health can continue with special food, daily fluids & ongoing vet care.
Boone This sweet boy has truly come a long way since joining our rescue. He adores people and thrives on affection. Since healing he loves going on walks & playing in the yard at his foster moms house. He is crate trained, housebroken and walks nicely on a leash. The perfect mix of active & lazy. He is dog friendly but would need the right match. He is teen approved but no cats for this guy.	RED Red is 3 years old and will be looking for his forever home. He is extremely smart and catches on quickly. He loves to learn new things. Red loves stuffed toys but they don’t seem to last too long ?. He LOVES playing catch and is even great at releasing the ball. Red loves a good game of tug too! He is crate trained and extremely housebroken. He is great on the leash but gets fearful with a lot of noises which is improving week by week. Red absolutely will benefit from having another dog!	Nala This happy girl is around 17 months old and is listed as a lab mix. She is amazing in the car, passed her temperament tests, and has no resource guarding. She walks nicely on leash but is around 73 lbs so she does need a strong handler. A home where she can be your one & only pet is best but is showing potential around other dogs.
Pooh Bear This sweet boy is under 3 years old and was found abandoned, leashed to a pole. He is currently with a volunteer who says he is the perfect house guest as he is non-destructive, crate trained, house broken and LOVES his naps! He is dog friendly but due to his timid nature we would recommend no children for him.	Dempsey This handsome, tall & lanky boy is looking for his forever home. He is under 2 years old and and loves his toys, food puzzles and going on walks. He is ready to be your adventure buddy as his foster parents have learned he loves the water & exploring. He is both dog & cat friendly.	Bella This tiny beauty is about 5 yrs young and sweet as pie. She loves cuddling in her bed and playing with her stuffies. Bella is looking to be your only princess. She has the cutest zoomies and is extremely smart.
DOZER This handsome boy is about 2 years old . He has been staying with one of our volunteers and is working on being the perfect pup. He is very smart and loves treats. He is super playful with typical puppy energy. Dozer loves playing catch and running around in the yard. He must be the only pet in the home and is recommended with older kids.
